Yesterday, we enjoyed a wonderful evening at St. Michael’s & All Angels Church in Martínez. Celebrating 26 uninterrupted years of this much-loved tradition, we came together with artists and local residents to select the paintings that will feature in our next charity calendar. More than 50 oil paintings and watercolours were exhibited, and thanks to the public vote and the work of the organising team and judging panel… WE NOW HAVE 14 SELECTED WORKS! 🖼👏 Our heartfelt thanks to Ian Gall for organising the event, to the Bishop of the Anglican Church, Brian Williams, to the Pastor of St. Michael’s, José Luis Gueli Saavedra, to Douglas Robertson, Pastor of St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, for their words and prayers, to Andrew Gibson and Andrew McCallum for overseeing the vote count, and to our President, Gavin Bruce, for his institutional support. And above all, thank you to all the artists and members of the public for being part of it! 🍷🥟 We rounded off the evening with empanadas, wine and plenty of conversation. 📌 The ABCC 2027 Calendar will be available from 15 October! Proceeds will go towards continuing to support our charitable work.

Designed to provide a better experience for our community, it will offer simpler navigation, easier access to information and new ways to discover our programmes, activities and services. We look forward to welcoming you to this new space for our community. The new website will make it easier to access our programmes, services, events, news and initiatives, with smoother navigation, reorganised content and a responsive design across all devices. It will also offer a closer look at the history, impact and work of the ABCC over more than eight decades, strengthening connections between generations and helping us reach new audiences. This renewal marks an important step in our commitment to building a connected, engaged community that is ready to meet the challenges of the future, while staying true to the values and traditions that define us.
